We think it’s very important to provide mentoring services to help facilitate the process of newcomer integration in both society and the job market. Maybe you want to help, but you feel unequipped. That’s why we’ve developed an intercultural communication training program for newcomers, coaches and companies.
Why is this important?
In the context of globalization, many people have to work in different cultural contexts and companies. Therefore, having intercultural communication skills and cultural intelligence is going to play a key role in the job market.
Cultural intelligence: the ability to function effectively in different cultural contexts.
Intercultural communication: the ability to communicate effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds.
Cultural intelligence and intercultural communication training transfers the foundational knowledge, skills, and mindsets required to work effectively with culturally diverse stakeholders and foster culturally inclusive work settings.
The goal?
Refugee training: To teach newcomers intercultural communication skills that will help them integrate in the job market, promoting self-sufficiency and social integration.
Professional mentor and company training: to help professional mentors, managers and employees most effectively support the process of refugee integration in the job market
Business Meet-Ups (BMUs)
The Business Meet-Up (BMU) is a regular event organized in different locations throughout the Netherlands in which entrepreneurs from the Middle East region meet with local business people. The events are hosted by different companies and provide a space to meet informally and discuss possible business opportunities. Re-Starter Dinner Experience
One of the best ways to learn about cultures is food. Re-Starter Dinner Experiences provides an opportunity for individuals to learn about each other’s culture while enjoying a wonderful Middle Eastern dinner prepared by chefs from the region. Companies and/or individuals can buy a table with their friends or colleagues and meet with refugees from the MENA region while enjoying Middle Eastern hospitality.
